Eat Think Vote: Let’s make food an election issue

Food Secure Canada is heading a movement with the intention of making food an issue in the upcoming federal election.


The Eat Think Vote campaign will be asking for :


There will be two Federal All Candidate meetings in the Mount Waddington Region.  At the meetings you will listen to each of the candidates speak, and then you will be given the  opportunity to ask questions.

  1. Port McNeill on Tuesday,  October 6th, 7pm-9pm ~ (Gatehouse Theatre)
  2. Port Hardy on Wednesday, October 7th,  7pm-9pm ~ (Civic Centre ~see more details here

The Eat Think Vote campaign is asking the candidates the following questions: q1

How can the Federal Government help us be more food secure? In regards to food security and the rural and remote area where we live, what will you be asking the candidates?
